Although Java is the work of those over at Sun Microsystems, Apple needs to release its own updates for the platform. Because of the multiple vulnerabilities recently found in Java Web Start and the Java Plug-in, Apple has rolled out two separate Java updates for Mac OS X Tiger and Leopard users. This update provides patches for the Java Bug IDs 6694892, 6707535, 6727081 and 6767668 from Sun Microsystems,” the description ends.
